ESS is a web-based resource you can use to access, update and manage your own personal information such as direct deposit and home address. It will also include all of the payroll detail previously offered through ADP iPay. If you have used ADP iPay in the past to view check stubs or W-2's, you will not need to register for ESS. If you have not, please register as a new user for Employee Self Service:


  • Select First Time Users Register Here
  • Select the ‘register now’ option
  • Your registration pass code is: Suffolk-iPay
  • Identity Verification: Employee ID # | mm/dd of birth
  • Enter your contact Information
  • Enter your security Information
  • View your user ID and create your password

After registration, or for all previously registered iPay users, simply re-visit and select ‘User Login’. Enter your ADP user ID and password and click ‘OK’. If you do not remember your user ID and/or password, click on the ‘Forgot your User ID’ or ‘Forgot your Password' link and you will be prompted to enter some security information which you entered when you originally registered.

The following is a partial list of your own key personal information available in ESS:

  • Your home address, mailing address (if different) and phone numbers: under Personal Information
  • University Directory information: visit Company Directory, under the Home tab
  • Available Vacation/Personal time: visit Personal Accrued Time, under Time & Attendance
  • Current pay statements, direct deposit information, and tax withholdings: under Pay & Taxes
  • Emergency Contact information: under Personal Information
