“I love the environmental science program because you can choose courses that focus on different core requirements but still emphasize different aspects of the environment. I also love that the department is smaller. All the professors know who you are as a student but also as a person and I think that is important.”

"Being a CUES student, as well as a work-study for the department, has been an exciting experience because I'm not only learning facts and figures in class, but I'm also relating them to the world around me, being exposed to the field of Environmental Science and Studies around Boston, and making connections that will help me grow as a student and individual. The department truly motivates me to do my best and helps me be involved at Suffolk."

"There are a variety of things I like about the CUES program at Suffolk University. First, the professors offer a wide-range of expertise in fields from GIS mapping and drone operations to coastal wetlands and marine ecology. Second, the labs revolve around real world applications such as water quality testing and constructing model wind turbines, all of which are topics of constant discussion. Lastly, because the CUES program is relatively new, every course offered is centered around the newest science, policies, and environmental issues. This allows for each student to be adequately prepared for internships, study abroad programs, or future careers in any field of their choosing. The CUES program provides nothing short of a hands-on learning experience."
