Becoming an Intern

The Center for Restorative Justice takes on field education placements, interns, or work-study students to assist with planning events, outreach, research, program development, and implementation on projects related to restorative justice in Massachusetts. This position includes supporting and assisting the director and center fellows in an array of tasks including field work in public schools.

Applicants should have a strong interest in restorative justice and will be in an excellent position to learn about the work currently underway in Boston and New England.

Ability to work independently, creatively and collaboratively is required. Skill and experience in web design, databases, and Internet research is a plus. Interest and experience in working with youth is necessary. The positions are unpaid, but academic credit may be available through the intern’s home institution. Preference is given to students attending universities in the Boston area.

We are currently recruiting interns for the fall semester. Unfortunately, we do not offer internships for the summer.
