A three course meal, with a twist! The actors/waiters drop clues, (but not your food) during this interactive murder mystery. Past performances included 2009's Murder at Cafe Noir, a spoof on the film noir genre in the vein of the Maltese Falcon and Casablanca, 2013's Boy Meets Murder, a spoof on Boy Meets World written by two Suffolk alumni and 2014's Enterprise: Deep Space Murder a spoof on Star Trek written by a Suffolk alumnus.

The Pioneer Performance Series is the centerpiece of the Performing Arts Office's spring semester bringing the entire Suffolk community together through theater and community dialogue. These performances tackle difficult and relevant topics, often exploring innovative works, working with established and emerging local playwrights, directors and designers, and developing ancillary programming to deepen the audience's experience. Past productions include: The Laramie Project, Songs for a New World, The Vagina Monologues, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Painted Alice, Urinetown: The Musical, The Exonerated, Reefer Madness: The Musical, Epic Proportions, Bare: A Pop Opera, Avenue Q, Radium Girls and Spring Awakening.

SpringFest is Suffolk's annual variety show and oldest arts tradition. This show highlights the hidden (and not so hidden) performing arts talents of Suffolk students and staff in an exciting musical extravaganza performed for one night only at Boston's Royale night club. Auditions take place each February, and the show is performed in April. 

Each summer Suffolk students flex their acting muscles for the incoming freshman class during New Student Orientation.

Past performances include Reality STEW, Alphabet STEW, and "Saved by the STEW", a spoof of Saved by the Bell.

Acting Out is a peer educational theater program that explores provocative campus issues such as consent, alcohol abuse, identity and mental health. Through a series of original scenes, this performance stimulates discussion for incoming college students about real college life.

Suffolk Performing Arts teams up each year with the Queer Student Union (QSU) to present Suffolk's Annual Drag Show, featuring some of Boston's premier professional drag queens and kings and select student performers. Held in October, the Drag Show is part of QSU's celebration of LGBTQ History Month. 

Each October, Suffolk Performing Arts and the Theatre Department clear out our storage closets and offer a variety of clothing, costumes, props, and accessories to the Suffolk community. Everything at this sale is priced at $5 and below; all proceeds are donated to an organization or charitable cause each year.

The team covers all campus arts and culture events, including auditions, exhibits, film screenings, galleries, performances, readings, showcases, and community events, making it your one-stop shop for arts and culture at Suffolk. Each semester, Suffolk Performing Arts purchases a block of tickets to select productions at professional theatres in Boston and offers those tickets to the Suffolk community at a deeply discounted price. Theatre companies have included the American Repertory Theatre (ART), Huntington Theatre, Speakeasy Stage Company, Lyric Stage, Boston Ballet, and Broadway in Boston.
