Community Productions
Suffolk Performing Arts produces several stage productions each year, including Dinner Theatre, Pioneer Performance Series, SpringFest, STEW, and Acting Out! Students of all majors, backgrounds, and talent are encouraged to audition for all productions.
Annual Productions
Dinner Theatre
A three course meal, with a twist! The actors/waiters drop clues, (but not your food) during this interactive murder mystery. Past performances included 2009's Murder at Cafe Noir, a spoof on the film noir genre in the vein of the Maltese Falcon and Casablanca, 2013's Boy Meets Murder, a spoof on Boy Meets World written by two Suffolk alumni and 2014's Enterprise: Deep Space Murder a spoof on Star Trek written by a Suffolk alumnus.
Pioneer Performance Series
SpringFest
SpringFest is Suffolk's annual variety show and oldest arts tradition. This show highlights the hidden (and not so hidden) performing arts talents of Suffolk students and staff in an exciting musical extravaganza performed for one night only at Boston's Royale night club. Auditions take place each February, and the show is performed in April.
Summer Theatre Ensemble Workshop STEW
Each summer Suffolk students flex their acting muscles for the incoming freshman class during New Student Orientation.
Past performances include Reality STEW, Alphabet STEW, and "Saved by the STEW", a spoof of Saved by the Bell.
Acting Out: Scenes From College Life
