Service-Learning

We work with faculty and students in classes across the university to support service-learning projects with community-based organizations throughout greater Boston.

Service-learning is an innovative method of learning that combines community service with classroom study and reflection. In disciplines as diverse as education, business, psychology, political science, environmental studies, theater, and more, students engage in projects ranging from teaching English as a second language (ESOL) to soil sampling to serving the needs of the homeless.
