New incoming first year and transfer students at Suffolk receive housing through a deposit process with Undergraduate Admissions when they confirm their enrollment with the University. After that first year, a room selection process is used for students who want to live in University-sponsored housing.

The room selection process allows current students in housing to participate in a lottery to attain housing for the following academic year. Specific eligibility information for housing for the 2018 - 2019 academic year will be sent via their Suffolk email to each residential student and their home.

The process requires an $250 non-refundable deposit to be paid between February 1st, 2018 and February 28th, 2018. Any existing balance must be paid off prior to submitting a housing deposit. All housing deposits should be submitted via MySuffolk.

All students are able to deposit, however if you meet the below criteria you are given priority. If more housing is available, we will be able to offer to others. We are working on securing more space, this will be confirmed mid-March

  • Currently live in University-sponsored housing; and
  • Started at Suffolk University's Boston campus as a freshman or transfer in Fall 2017 or Spring 2018; or
  • Started at Suffolk University's Madrid campus as a freshman in Fall 2017 or Spring 2018;
  • Are a member of the University Honors Program; and
  • Have not been sanctioned with Loss of Future Housing that extends beyond April 1, 2018 via the Community Standards and Student Conduct System; and
  • Pay your $250 housing deposit via MySuffolk by February 28, 2018 and have paid their previous balance;
  • Have signed your 2018-2019 License Agreement on SUConnect by February 28th, 2018
  • And are registered as a full-time student by April 10, 2018 for the Fall 2018 semester.

Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria may still submit an $250 housing deposit via MySuffolk by February 28, 2017**. If housing is available, we will offer to those who fall outside of this criteria. You will know if housing is available to you the week after Spring Break.

**If you deposit and we are unable to offer you housing, your deposit will be refunded**
