Stepping Stone is a new program that will give rising 11th- and 12th-graders a chance to learn what it’s like to study at the Sawyer Business School. Students will take classes every day on our campus in the heart of Boston, with the option of commuting or living in one of our supervised residence halls. Teachers for the program include Suffolk faculty; students can earn up to three Suffolk credits, which will automatically transfer if they decide to attend Suffolk after high school.

An introduction to business

Students will spend each morning studying in the classroom or working in our Trading Room, Center for Entrepreneurship, or Innovation Lab. The afternoon will include work on projects or visits to companies, some within walking distance of our downtown campus. Excursions for the weekend will classic Boston-area sites, like Harvard Square.

“This is a great opportunity for high school students to study at one of the area’s top business schools,” said Kim Larkin, director of honors programs at the Business School. “Whether they’re interested in finance, international business, leadership, sports marketing, or entrepreneurship, students will discover the program is a great first step into the world of business and a wonderful way to experience campus life before they go to college.”
