2009 Internship and Consulting Project Placements (PDF)
The Suffolk Global MBA has established internship collaborations with companies in Argentina, England, Greece, India, Spain, and Turkey.
Plans are underway to expand to Japan and Singapore for Summer 2010. Students are also encouraged to seek placements outside these areas. Most international students choose to complete an internship in the Boston area.
Most fully employed students cannot leave their jobs for a 3-month Internship but can get away for a 2-week period. In this
exciting alternative, offered for the first time in Summer 2009, students complete prior research, spend two intensive weeks at the company immersing themselves in the corporate and country culture; and return to Boston to complete the bulk of the consulting project work.
Some part-time students use their new skill set immediately on the job. They complete a global research project that benefits their company and their resume. Whether you complete a full-time internship, 2-week residency-based project, or an in-house global research project, you must add significant value to the company in a project related to your concentration: International Finance or International Marketing concentration.
