The length of time in a program varies depending if prerequisite work is required. If you do not require prerequisite work, the length of the program is 10 courses. It will take 15 months for part-time students to complete.

If you do not have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, our Masters in Taxation program requires that you enroll in four accounting prerequisite courses. These core courses provide you with the foundation to help you succeed in the more in-depth taxation coursework.
If your goal is to sit for the CPA exam, we can counsel you on which courses you may need to take.
back to top^The Masters in Taxation grants waivers for the four accounting core courses with credit for equivalent coursework taken with a grade of B or better. CPA’s automatically waive these courses.
Tax core courses can be waived with substitution of an elective for similar courses taken recently or if the student has extensive experience.
