Suffolk Veterans Luncheon
Giselle Sterling, Commissioner of Veterans Services for the City of Boston; Chairman Bob Lamb, U.S. Army veteran; and Justin Rhuda, President of the Suffolk Law Veterans Association, were among the speakers at our reception for Suffolk veterans.
Personal Effects Displayed
In advance of Veterans Day 2017, the display case in front of the Sawyer Library has been filled with military uniforms, medals, and other personal items from our current student and alumni veterans by our Undergraduate Student Veteran Organization.
Veterans Lounge Opening
On Nov. 10, 2016, members of the community celebrated the opening of the Student Veterans Office & Lounge on Sawyer’s 9th floor. It serves as the Undergraduate Student Veterans Organization’s headquarters and as a gathering space for our veteran students.
