Incoming Undergraduate Students

  • Spring 2017 new freshman and transfer students, the recommended filing date is November 1, 2016. Spring 2017 incoming students should file a 2016/17 FAFSA.
  • Fall 2017 new freshmen, the recommended filing date is March 1, 2017.
  • Fall 2017 new transfer students, the recommended filing date is May 1, 2017.

 Returning Undergraduate Students

  • Fall 2017, the recommended filing date is April 15, 2017.

Graduate Students

  • Spring 2017 graduate students, the recommended filing date is November 1, 2016. Spring 2017 incoming students should file a 2016/17 FAFSA.
  • Fall 2017 graduate students, the recommended filing date is April 15, 2017.

It is important that you meet the above deadlines for best possible consideration. However, applications are accepted after deadlines and offers extended until all available funds have been depleted

 The FAFSA can be submitted prior to your tax returns being filed with the IRS.
