Suffolk University is a student-centered institution. We recognize that our students' first year with us is especially influential in shaping their desire to remain at Suffolk and their readiness to succeed after graduation.
To provide our freshmen with an even better experience, we have partnered with the John N. Gardner Institute to implement the Foundations of Excellence (FoE) First Year initiative. Designed to strengthen these students' education and integration into campus life, this initiative includes three key stages:
- Taking inventory of our current offerings for freshmen
- Conducting a candid self-assessment of those offerings
- Crafting an action plan to ensure Suffolk provides freshmen with a superior experience both inside and outside of the classroom
Check back with us often for our latest updates.
The FoE First Year initiative marks an important collaboration among the College of Arts & Sciences, Sawyer Business School, and Divisions of Student Affairs and Student Success. We hope you'll contribute, as well.
