Expand Your World this Summer

Study Abroad is alive and well at Suffolk, creating experience-rich opportunities for students to immerse themselves in a culture other than their own, and to become more independent and informed about the world while earning academic credits.

Study photojournalism in Tuscania, Italy, explore the traditions of Senegalese culture in Dakar, Senegal, or learn how to dance Flamenco in Madrid, Spain. These, and other summer options are available to both Suffolk and non-Suffolk students in the Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Russia, Spain, and Uganda! View summer options.

Summer study abroad programs range from two weeks to six weeks and students can earn up to eight credits. Both Suffolk and non-Suffolk students are eligible for study abroad.

Madrid, Spain Campus

At Suffolk Madrid, our student body represents more than 20 different nationalities—extending from Europe, Asia and Africa to the Americas. Immersed in the vibrant culture of Spain’s capital, our students study—in English or Spanish—surrounded by the majesty of Spain’s 16th century heritage.

Dakar, Senegal Campus

Suffolk Dakar is nestled in a quiet neighborhood of this modern coastal city. With nearly three million inhabitants, Dakar is the capital of Senegal, the most friendly, stable, yet culturally diverse democratic state in Africa. Located on the seacoast at the westernmost tip of Africa, it is a truly international city, and an illuminating window on the world. It’s an ideal setting for global education.
