• Vice President of Academic Affairs

The Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for defining the University’s scholarly vision and spearheading innovation. In collaboration with administrators in the College of Arts & Sciences, Sawyer Business School, and Suffolk University Law School, she promotes academic quality and addresses curricular needs. She leads the planning of University-wide initiatives, assessment of student learning outcomes, and implementation of best practices. The Vice President also works with administrators and faculty members to help maximize federal research grants and other forms of public and private funding.

As the University’s liaison with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, this office ensures compliance with accreditation criteria. The office also plays a role in uniting academic and professional personnel in order to more fully realize the University’s mission.

The Office of Academic Affairs participates in the University-wide commitment to enhancing Suffolk’s resources, and partners with the Office of Advancement to strengthen alumni and donor relations.
