• Provost
The Provost is the senior academic and administrative officer of the University, responsible for encouraging and supervising growth and orderly operation of the University. His responsibilities also include collaborating across the University and initiating constructive policies and practices that benefit the academic life of the University as a whole. The University academic and administrative vice presidents report to the Provost who, in turn, is under the direction of the President of the University and the Board of Trustees.

At Suffolk University, a tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship provide the foundation for educating students to achieve success while remaining committed to the greater good.

Students have access to rich and varied curricula through the University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Sawyer Business School, and Law School. Collaboration across these academic units adds depth and resonance to the efforts of each department and faculty member. Campuses in Europe and Africa and an array of international partnerships provide a global spirit to a Suffolk University education, allowing students to gain a comprehensive understanding of their place in the world.

The University enters its second century with faculties recognized for strong scholarship, innovative teaching techniques, and the ability to prepare our students for the challenges of today’s world in a creative and supportive intellectual environment.
