Are Shakespeare’s prejudices about Jews, blacks, women, homosexuals, and intellectuals really that different from our own?  Harvard legal scholar Alan Dershowitz and Suffolk University Distinguished Scholar in Residence Robert Brustein examine how the playwright’s masterworks, King Lear, Othello, Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice, and The Tempest reflect the experiences of his era and ours.
