International students can take part in an internship or cooperative educational experience while studying at Suffolk University. After one academic year, students can work with the Career Services Department or a university professor to obtain an off campus work experience. This work must be related to the student’s field of study. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is needed in order to legally work off campus. International students should work with the Office of International Advising to obtain this authorization.
