Student Scholarship Initiative
At Suffolk, our students come first. Through the Student Scholarship Initiative, the University is establishing direct financial aid for our students as its top priority.
Suffolk has its roots in a simple act of goodwill that took place more than a century ago. George Frost, a Boston businessman and philanthropist, offered a loan to pay the college tuition of our founder, Gleason Archer. But when Archer later tried to pay back the debt, Frost refused. “If you ever have the chance to pass this favor along to others, do it for me,” he said.
So Archer made good on the debt by starting Suffolk University. And a century later, our 60,000 graduates are still using the knowledge and inspiration gained here to change the world, change lives—and change the rules. Because at Suffolk, we understand the immense benefits of “paying it forward.” Grateful for what we have been given, we give back.
Your gift will help us continue to pass along George Frost's favor, student by student, and life by life.
