Inside Boston

Suffolk Law's downtown location puts students steps away from internships at city, state, and federal courthouses and some of the nation's most prominent law firms. Students can also easily walk to Boston's theater district, the shops of Newbury Street, and sports events at the TD Garden.

Boston Common and Beacon Hill are across the street. So is the T subway system, which provides access to all of Boston's neighborhoods and beyond. Weekend destinations range from the beaches of Martha's Vineyard to the scenic Berkshires to the mountains of New Hampshire.

The City is Yours

Suffolk plays a prominent role in Boston’s thriving theater scene. We reconstructed the historic Modern Theatre in 2010, saving the 1913 façade and creating student housing and a new performance space in the heart of the city’s Theatre District.

You know that red brick line you may follow all or part of the way to class? That’s the Freedom Trail, one of Boston’s top tourist attractions and an enduring symbol of our revolutionary history. Learn more about what the city has to offer.

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The Institute of Contemporary Art. Fenway Park. The Boston Symphony Orchestra. All of these cultural landmarks and more are just minutes from the Suffolk campus.

In the past decade, each of Boston’s major professional sports team has racked up at least one championship, and we're lucky to have a front-row seat to the celebration.
