Over 30 years ago, the Center began with a vision and a goal: to bring the world of the judiciary and practicing bar into the life of our Law School. Today, we've grown to 40 award-winning continuing legal education (CLE) programs and individual academic conferences that are built around members of the Suffolk faculty, experienced lawyers and judges, academics and other professionals, and prominent alumni. Suffolk is the only law school CLE provider in Massachusetts.

The Center also develops courses for the law school’s Intellectual Property Law Certificate, The Women's Leadership Academy, The Macaronis Institute for Trial & Appellate Advocacy and the the Law Practice Technology & Innovation Institute.

Tuition benefits for the Suffolk Law community

If you're a current Suffolk Law student or graduated within the last year, tuition is free for most programs. For alumni out of the school for over a year, ALS offers a tuition discount on most programs. ALS is an approved CLE provider in Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island and has reciprocity in most jurisdictions.
