Students write, direct, and design their own original plays and intern with leading theatre companies, both at Suffolk’s Modern Theatre and with organizations throughout the United States. Students work in classic, musical, and experimental genres with a special focus on new work.
Students develop the analytical foundation and practical skills to succeed in challenging productions, internships and special projects. Theatre faculty and guest artists are working professionals dedicated to preparing students for diverse post graduate careers.
Our students confidently move into the world as practitioners in the performing arts and many other professions. Theatre students innovate, create, build, and lead.
