Students select one of three concentrations:

Communication Studies

With its broad approach to the ever-evolving discipline, the Communication Studies concentration is designed for those interested in teaching communication or in pursuing doctoral study.

Public Relations & Advertising

The Public Relations & Advertising concentration highlights how both corporate and non-profit organizations interact with myriad publics in building and maintaining image, brand awareness, and social responsibility.

Integrated Marketing Communication

Examining the synergy between public relations, advertising, and marketing, the Integrated Marketing Communication concentration offers cross-disciplinary study in both the College of Arts & Sciences and the Sawyer Business School.
